二零一八年初,大学校友秦暮秋导演邀请我为他们的纪录片《妄见》制作配乐。关于《妄见》,导演做了如下创作自述: In early 2018, I was invited by a college alumnus, director Qin Muqiu, to produce the soundtrack for their documentary film "One Day in Gaoyi". About "One Day in Gaoyi", the director gave the following statement about the composition.      我二零一七年做了一部纪录片叫《妄见》,《妄见》的意思是你可能看到是真的,也可能看到是假的。这个片子最后剪出来,就有一种应该叫做现实童话的感觉吧。我只能这么说,它是非叙事性的,但它也有时间的流动感,是一个液态的影像。   I made a documentary called "Delusion" in 2017, which means that what you may see could be real, or not. When this film was finally finished, there was a sense of what should be called a realistic fairy tale, I guess. I can only say that it is non-narrative, but it also has a sense of the flow of time, a liquid image.   片子的英文名叫one day in Gaoyi,高椅,其实是湖南的一个古村落,未来要开发成一个旅游景点。当地村民陆续看到很多领导来访,然后也见过各种媒体、摄影机,但还没有游客去到那儿,所以它就形成了一种非常奇怪的状态——当地人不惧怕,也不好奇这些摄影机,但是他们在摄影机面前也不会像丽江、凤凰那些景区的村民一样去表演一个他们的状态。   The film is called "One Day in Gaoyi". Gaoyi is an ancient village in Hunan province that will be developed into a tourist attraction in the future. The local villagers have seen many dignitaries visiting the village and also met various media and cameras, but haven't seen any regular tourist. So it brings a very strange state - the locals are not afraid nor curious about these cameras, and yet they do not perform their state in front of the cameras like the villagers in those scenic spots in Lijiang and Phoenix.     当时那个村里政府贴了一个演员公告,临到过年,政府要办文艺演出,征集村民们上台表演,大家就在那边看海报。这是这个纪录片的主线,中间穿插着各种各样的人的生活状态,有屠夫,还有自己开了一个博物馆的怪老头,经营渡轮的,这些人都非常非常淡定,摄影机对着他很近地拍他也无所谓,他就像一个琥珀一样。这个村子的人都被保存在这个奇怪的状态里,可能会稍纵即逝吧,所以我觉得这个状态还蛮难得的,只有在现在的中国,在这种高速发展中的乡镇上才能看得到。   At that time, the village administration posted a cast announcement, that in the approaching New Year's Eve, there would be a cultural performance, and the villagers would be solicited to perform on stage. Everyone was over there looking at the posters. This is the main line of the documentary, interspersed with a variety of people's living conditions. There is a butcher, a weird old man who runs his own museum, a ferry operator, all these people are extremely calm, and it doesn't matter if the camera is very close to him. It's like an amber.  The people of this village are all preserved in this strange state, which may be fleeting, so I think this state is quite rare, and can only be seen at this time in China, in these fast-developing country towns.     基于这部纪录片的概念,我在音乐上选择了以合成器为主的氛围化处理。当时我刚接触模拟合成器不久,便把它当作了一次小的习作,导演给了我最大限度的自由,我用几个下午的时间制作完成了这几个音乐小段落。《钝》是这个片子中的一个章节的副标题,我觉得它和这几个乐曲的质地十分吻合。收到了門唱片企划的拓扑档案邀请后,我把这几个小曲子找了出来,时隔两年再听,觉得它们仍然有自己的生命力。我在给这些曲子重新做母带的时候,自己听睡着了,希望他们也能够帮助你入睡。   Based on the idea of this documentary, I opted for a synthesizer-based ambiance in my music. I was new to synthesizers at the time, so I took it as a small exercise. The director gave me maximum freedom and I spent a few afternoons producing these small musical pieces. "Blunt" is the subtitle of one of the chapters in this piece, and I think it fits perfectly with the texture of these pieces. After receiving the invitation to the Topos Archive of MEN Records, I picked up these little pieces and listened to them again after two years, thinking they still had a vitality of their own.
