Erin McLendon is a Country/Pop/Rock singer/songwriter. Hailing from Durham, North Carolina, it is clear that she inspired by not only Carolina Beach Music but also by artists varying from Miranda Lambert to Jimmy Buffett. Her first album, self-titled Erin McLendon, contains material all written by Erin about experiences she has had, like in her song "That Ain't the Way it Works," and just thoughts on her mind, as showcased in "My Escape." Her lyrical style is straight-forward and honest, putting forward as much of her personality in the music as she can.
