Lily Maase is a rock, country, jazz and classical guitarist raised in New Mexico, educated at the University of North Texas, and living in Brooklyn, New York. She is a contributor to Guitar World and Guitar World's Acoustic Nation, who recently lauded her as a "master guitar teacher," and is the founder and owner of Brooklyn GuitarWorks. Lily, her father Steve, and her younger sister Arielle all teach and play the guitar professionally, which makes their love of music a bit of a family business. Together they have spent nearly 90 years dedicated to the instrument, and continue to share their enthusiasm with players of all ages and experience every day. Lily is the lead guitarist, musical director and bandleader with the Rocket Queens all-female tribute to Guns N Roses and the Suite Unraveling (Tzadik). She is the lead guitarist with Mancie and Gato Loco and is endorsed by Godin Guitars. Her playing has been featured on Vans.com, Maxim.com and Guitar World's Acoustic Nation, Elle.com and in Scores Magazine.
