Hi! We are TOMBOi, a queer indie electronic band based out of Jacksonville, Florida. We first came together through mutual friends, cementing a deeper bond through music, community organizing and youth advocacy efforts with local non profits like Girls Rock Jacksonville. Last year, on top of touring and balancing life and our “day jobs” we managed to record and self-produce our first full length album, Spectrum.

Spectrum is an album that is inspired by the social and personal experiences of growing up as queer androgynous women in the south. We pulled inspiration from our hometown’s on-going battle to pass a fully inclusive Human Rights Ordinance, personal relationships and concepts of identity. When coming up with the name of the album we kept circulating around this idea that everything is on a Spectrum.
