Perhaps Nick Bryant leading his 3-piece High School band to win battle of the bands stands alone to foreshadow his many future endeavors in the world of music. Maybe his winning the talent show at North Cobb High School was just another glimpse of things to come. Or just maybe his first song “What a Cool Day” that he wrote and recorded professionally in his uncle Skip’s studio at age 9 told the entire tale before it even began. Regardless, young Nick Bryant was destined to create music and was sure of it far before seeing his favorite band The Beach Boys perform at Chastain Park when he was 7. Besides change, music was a constant in his early life from frequent trips to Uncle Skip’s studio, band practice with his drummer father, and a never-ending exposure of new music in both the household and car with his music loving mother. “I actually see myself more as a writer more than anything. I remember free-writing regularly on the school bus since first grade and have never stopped. No one told me to I just felt like doing it. Plus I never was the greatest drawer so I just wrote and wrote and now here I am 23 years young still doing the same thing. I guess some things never change.” After receiving his Bachelor's in Business Administration, Nick Bryant has finished his first full-length album (‘Nick Bryant’). The album will be released 12/13/14. Following his release of 13 unforgettable songs spanning many genres, he plans to tour the Southeastern United States. After already making a splash in radio waves in ten + countries around the world, Nick hopes to continue expanding his fan base, or "friend base" as he calls it and eventually tour the world sharing his art. He has teamed up with producer/mixer Josh Cobb of Rockbot Studios in Jacksonville, Florida, to craft his songs sonically and take his songwriting to new levels. Speaking of waves, Nick Bryant is inspired by waves of self-realization that drive him to capture them in song. Some of his direct musical influences include Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, The Beach Boys, Beatles, Jack White, Sublime and many others.
