Love Me for Me was inspired by their untold love story which spanned 20 years. The raw emotion Kelly brings to her vocals and the depth Steve brings to the music was made possible by each of them drawing on their experiences together. Together Kelly and Steve have created a beautiful but haunting love song. They hope you enjoy it as much as they enjoyed making it. The songwriting and producing was done entirely over the internet. Kelly and Steve were never in the same room as they lived over 5000 miles apart at the time. Kelly's raw vocal tracks were recorded in England and then sent to South Africa via the net where Steve mixed everything to produce the finished track.
