FakeAno Brings It Back Home With Inspired New EP effort, "African Boy."

Nearly a full year has passed since the debut project “24” from the artist was released and it is fair to say that much has changed in the Artist’s life. After contributing writing efforts to high profile artists through writing camps hosted across the Southern Hemisphere, the sonic direction of his music has had no choice but to find change as well. This new 5 track extended play sees “Blank Spaces” producers “Jillz” and “Evoke” take the forefront on the mixing board and offer forward-thinking and tasteful production with afro-centric sensibilities. The project effortlessly blends afrobeat with dancehall and RNB in a and fresh way. “African Boy” features a host of guests that contribute their talent on the highest level. Sphum offers a soulful RNB guest verse while the usual suspects of “Jillz”, “Xavier Steeze”, “Jiggy Worldwide” and offer their expected usual best and “Ck The Dj” who FakeAno met on a writing camp in Limpopo, gives us beautiful harmonics to compliment the project. The effort is comprehensive and full of substance as it tackles love, spirituality and the growing pains of becoming a matured African man in the new modern world.
