New York's own Sobie steps up for a meditative one-forty release on Zip Sound, after receiving DJ support from the like's of Conscious Pilot, Distance, & FKOF with his string of straight to the web singles. The EP starts off promptly with the title track "Will Power" demonstrating the producer's sensibilities for regional influence, culminating in a truly jazz inspired sub heavy roller. Next up is "Hollow" a low slung, hesitant hip-hop fueled number, spiraling into effected dub horn goodness. Rounding out the release is Morning High's remix of "Hollow" subverting the original pulse of the track and replacing it with a mid range packed, UK influenced take on the smooth original, making this remix an easy in for any modern deep dubstep set.
