Frank Critelli is a performing songwriter based in New Haven Connecticut. Since 1989 he has performed his original songs in streets and subways, barrooms, classrooms, clubs and coffeehouses, theaters and festivals. Frank has released 10 collections of original music, performed over 1000 lives shows and shared a stage with legendary performers including Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Richard Thompson and Steve Forbert. Critelli’s stage presence is simultaneously crashing and calm, and he is capable of guiding an audience from quiet thoughtfulness to hardy laughter with a skillful turn of phrase. His songs veer from scruffy folk to pristine pop and are reminiscent of a time when music was a matter of importance.
