简介

Baron MaK – Brooklyn, NY (Gospel Rapper) In an era where glorification of materialism and non-Christian behavior can sometimes be found in Christian music, Baron MaK is a shiny beacon. His lyrics are powerful and uncomplicated. The delivery of MaK’s lyrics is as powerful as emcees of the secular world, yet God’s messages rings clear and true. MaK grew up in a tough neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. He was engulfed by the expressive forms of Hip Hop Culture, yet he was surrounded by the love of his God-fearing, professional singer mother. Although, MaK knew his gift of rapping was God-given, it took him years of experiencing the realities of “street life” before he gave his music and life to God. When you witness his ministry, the sincerity and wisdom that came from his life experiences is revealed. As much as MaK enjoys Hip Hop Culture as an art form, he makes a distinction in his attire and manner when it comes to ministering. He also makes sure to mentor youth regarding the importance of appearance and giving respect to God even in outward appearance. “I’m not coming from the streets and giving you Holy Hip Hop in my own words and my own thing. This is not about skills this about the Word of God,” says MaK. “God is my executive producer,” says MaK. This attitude of giving God the glory and direction over the purpose of his music makes all the difference in MaK’s ministry. He believes God spoke to him through visions showing him his charge to lead people to accept Christ though his music. He studies the Holy Bible, prays, and allows the Holy Spirit to lead his ministry. In MaK’s ministry he “raps” the scripture so the Word of God is always embedded. It is a clear example of Holy Hip Hop/Christian Hip Hop making God the source of skills and reason for making music. MaK prefers using the literal Word of God, not his own interpretation when ministering. “The Word is a Tool,” says MaK. The inspiration for MaK’s lyrics comes from God, The Bible, “The Bible Experience”, and today’s Church. “The Bible Experience” revealed to MaK an emotional connection to Biblical characters through its actors. MaK also credits Martial Arts, Inspirational Christian Self-Help, Motivational writings and Meditation for keeping his spirit and attitude positive and lifted up. Tabitha, MaK’s wife keeps him motivated and encouraged. She also helps behind the scenes with the ministry’s business tasks. MaK is a loving and devoted father of three girls and one boy. He has supportive in-laws and a strong Spiritual Mother, Gail Richardson. MaK is involved in numerous projects. The Fraternity International Christian Brotherhood of Brooklyn and his own “Thankful Movement” are two of his major interests. Many of MaK’s songs and videos can be found on the major Social Networking & Music Sharing outlets. Tracks like “Jesus” and “Amen” from the 2013 spring release CD “ALMIGHTY Anthem” are endearing and grounded in scriptural teachings. Find out more about Baron MaK’s ministry at http://baronmak.com/
