'This Might Make You Mad' is a hard-hitting album full of topical issues from today's headlines. Set in a traditional American folk style, this album evokes the protest rallies of the 1960's while keeping its self rooted in the modern world. The album cover depicts an American revolutionary solder standing amidst a modern apocalyptic scene with his gun still smoking after shooting a donkey and an elephant, symbols of the two party system that is wrecking his legacy. 'T.S.A. Man' deals with issues of privacy vs. safety (with a humorous tone) while songs like 'Wake Up' bash the two-party system like it was a no-holds barred street fight. 'All Of Us' tackles topics usually left to conspiracy theory, but leaves the decision up to you. The song 'I Love To Smoke My W**d (Hollenbeck Blues)' is a semi-autobiographical song that anyone who has been a victim of the war on drugs can relate to.
