简介
Kind of based in the East Midlands in the UK, JD & the FDCs are a rock and roll band. We've all been around the block a few times, so you may have seen some of us before in either Panic, Teenage Casket Company, The Dangerfields, The Marky Ramone band, Patchwork Grace or illuminatus. We've been gigging since 2010 and have released one album, three EPs and a split 7" record with Acey Slade & the Dark Party. Our debut album was recorded by Jason Sanderson (Rolo Tomassi/Hawkeyes/Ginger Wildheart) and the mastering was completed in Los Angeles by none other than Howie Weinberg. (Beastie Boys, Nirvana, Public Enemy, Ramones, RHCP, U2, The Clash....) Released on 02/08/12, “Recognise” was voted 'Album Of The Year 2012' by the biggest rock website in the UK, Uber Rock and featured a stellar array of guest appearances courtesy of luminaries from the worlds of rock, punk, TV and….wrestling! The band was joined by the talents of Dez Cadena (Black Flag), Amy "Lita" Dumas (Former WWE Womens Champion), Johnny Bonnel (Swingin' Utters), Acey Slade (Murderdolls), Richard Bacchus (D Generation), Jesse Luscious (Blatz/The Criminals), Andee Blacksugar (The Dark Party), Carol Hodge (Steve Ignorant/Crass), and Rob Lane (Let Loose/TCC). "Anatomy Of A Wolf" is our second album and is once again 100% financed by ourselves. We recorded it using the same board that was used by the Sex Pistols on "Never Mind The Bollocks" and by Queen on "Bohemian Rhapsody". A lot has happened to us in the three years that passed between albums and not all good things. The songwriting reflects this. It's definitely darker and more melancholy, but also strangely a lot more poppy an melodic.
