Suji is a pop/rock singer and songwriter, currently based in Scandinavia. His music combines mainstream pop/rock with modern Latin rhythms, as well as European trends. His supporting band – The Stockholm Times – is a multicultural group with members from Peru, Sweden, the UK and the Caribbean. He grew up listening to Queen, the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Lenny Kravitz, Smash Mouth, as well as many Latin American artists. His songs are a blend of catchy melodies and honest lyrics, based on the artist’s personal experiences. “This mix of happy and sad tunes are inspired by certain great and not-so-great moments – being in love, getting dumped, friendship, frustration, indifference, hope … all those things that make us feel alive”. Suji’s debut album “Flip of a coin” was mastered by Mats ‘Limpan’ Lindfors (Scorpions, Roxette, Loreen, Mando Diao) at Cutting Rooms Studios in Sweden. Mixed and recorded in Ethnoel Studios (Sweden) and MCA Studios (Peru).
