Songs later her compelling voice calls to us from a Louisiana club stage where a mysterious woman with a “Rose Tatoo” down her shoulder blade shows up to raise havoc. And when this maestro of eleven instruments takes us on a “Joy” ride, near the CD’s end, joy is exactly what we feel.
