Spike James is a rap artist in a lover’s quarrel with life. His experiences and observations have led him to constantly re-think about appropriate responses to hurtful actions, evil deeds, and threats of all kinds. An eye-for-an-eye, or turn the other cheek? What are the conditions for societal equilibrium? How are cultural changes affecting harmony? How does one best fight for one’s liberty and freedom? Recently, he discovered resistance theory, which discusses the basis on which constituted authority may be resisted by individuals or groups, and underpins and justifies the concept of revolution.
