Mike is a pianist/composer based in North Alabama who has recently released his third solo project entitled "Advent". This is Mike's first release in over three years. As the title suggests, this project is a Christmas record. Most of the album consists of very simple, expressive arrangements of familiar Christmas carols, but also included is the new original tune, "Emmanuel, All is Well". Dave Dubberly and Katie Burney provide the vocal duet for this stirring song. Violinist Joyah Pettus also plays on 3 songs on the project.
