简介
K-S.E.R.A. (Keith S. Embodies Real Artistry) is an artist from the Windy City trying to follow in the footsteps of many successful Chicago hip-hop artists such as Common, Kanye West and Twista. However, he wants to make his own niche as a rare commodity in this industry, a modest MC. In an era that is dominated by the glorification of sex, violence and materialism, K-Sera believes in making "feel good" music that is friendly to the ears of potential listeners of all ages and walks of life. K-Sera considers himself to be an established writer of song lyrics and poetry, while still just scratching the surface of his potential as an MC, a craft in which he has not dedicated too much of his time up to this point. As a co-owner of an up-and-coming production and song writing company (4 Da Love productions - www.4dalove.com) K-Sera has primarily focused on music production and the business end of the industry. His first release the O.K. (Orange Krush) is a song inspired by the success of the Men's Basketball Team of his alma mater the University of Illinois. Who could have imagined the University of Illinois Men's Basketball team would have the kind of season they've had. This year is indeed a special one. In order to help celebrate and enjoy the season they're having, K-Sera has created a song that is a tribute to the players, coaches and the fans of the 04'-05' Illini. He hopes that it will quickly become the official anthem of this year's team. Members of the Orange Krush (student basketball support group), the Athletic Department and even some of the players have heard the song and have nothing but great things to say about it. As a graduate of the U of I College of Engineering and a blessed man of God, K-Sera believes that to whom much is given much is required. Thus he has decided to donate all of the profits from the song to the Church World Services charity, specifically to Tsunami Recovery assistance and to the Sudan Crisis relief. Please support him in his salute to the best college basketball team in the country, the University of Illinois Fighting Illini! We guarantee that when you're done listening to his song, you'll be feeling "O.K."!
