Shelan is due to release her debut album in 2008, she has been working with some of the most talented urban producers in the UK, co-producing, writing and recording her forthcoming debut. She has also had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the hottest up n coming artists out of the US, where up n coming MC/rapper Midnite from New Jersey, USA features on this promo. The promo to date has been well recieved with back up from the UK's Top RnB DJ, Ronnie Herel regularly playlisted on Radio 1 Xtra, and will be featured on multiple mixtapes by renowned mixtape masters such as the UK-US Mixtape King DJ Ames and NYC, Jamaica Queens mixtape King, DJ Etrain Although singing and writing from a young age, Shelan started out as DJ Sweet P playing all over the UK as a teenager with the infamous female DJ group "Soul Sisters" Shelan naturally progressed from this into making records, where she went under her DJ pseudonom as Sweet P with earlier releases with Stubborn and Ill Kidz "Whatcha got for me", "Home Alone", Blackstory "Talkin bout whatever" and later on UKG club hits "Love Tragedy" and "Optimistic" with HKA In addition to being a singer/performer, Shelan is a top line writer, having worked regularly with Universal Music, and with some of the best people in the industry:Rob Davis (Credits : Kylie Minogue:Cant get you out of my head, Groove Jet Spiller: If this aint Love, Fragma's 'Toca's Miracle',Grace: Not Over Yet) Van Guard, (Credits: Ashanti : ROck with U [Taz and Vangard Remix] and Ashanti : Rain on Me (Taz and Vanguard Remix, Y Tribe: I wanna Know and Elizabeth Troy: Enough is Enough, Dizzee Rascal) Sticky (Credits: Ms Dynamite Boo), Stanton Warriors, Francis James and DJ Face (Mis-Teeq : why, Fahan: Girls Play 2) Shelan has also written tracks for up n coming RnB girl group Chasemo, whose music you can also purchase on CDBABY!
