A Perfect Love Song is a mature and contemporary EP from a band reaching back towards their acoustic roots. Produced by Ross Hamilton (Bad Mannequins) and Michael Bannister (Texas) the EP is a posthumous release as Ben Kench, the songwriter and lead vocalist sadly passed away suddenly prior to the record's release. The release date of 27th August would have been Ben's birthday. The music is emotional and intense, a signature of Ben's approach to both music and life, and is a shining example of great quality, contemporary acoustic music. The harmonies of the brothers Jim and Ben at moments are so close they are indivisible and each song is lifted by Robin's wonderfully creative guitar parts. Listen carefully and rising above the inventive bass lines you will hear the debut Safehaus appearance of Ali on French Horn and violin adding yet another layer of evocative melodies.
