We play acoustic music of almost all kinds, from Blind Willie McTell to the Everly Brothers to French-Canadian fiddle tunes to our originals. Together we have developed a sound that is different from what you'd get from any of us separately; when asked what genre we play we never know how to answer! Dennis (concertina, button accordion, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, whistle) has a background in Irish and Midwestern Polka. Jim (guitar, percussion, vocals) has a rockabilly/country background. Dave (upright bass, whistle, euphonium and vocal) is primarily a trombone player who loves jazz and brass band music, and has recently gone wild over bluegrass. Peter (guitar, slide and Hawaiian guitar, mandolin, banjo, clarinet and vocal) comes from a folk/blues background.
