Area 7 is a Progressive Trance studio based unit formed by producer and musician Chris.e.g. Chris cut his teeth in Happy Hard Core, Drum & Bass and House achieving acclaimed success with Bristol Exposure with some stomping anthems. Chris hooked up with Trance DJ Ian Wilkie and found that Progressive Trance was where he felt most at home. Breaking from the mold, Area 7 became respected by many for the diverse nature of their music, pushing boundaries between the dance genres and further. Area 7’s distinctive material has found its way to the dance floors and home stereo’s across Europe and beyond. Being seasoned musicians helped in creating the blend and textures found in their unique style. Area 7 tunes incorporate uplifting strings, breaks, hypnotic acid lines and traditional instruments as well as featuring female vocals from the regular to a Gregorian chant. Area 7 has never believed in limits. This mini album includes earlier and current material, giving a brief look into what is the ‘Timeless’ nature of inspired music.
