简介
"The Winter Moon" is an inspired collection of ancient yuletide carols that interweaves the melodies of the harp (Ann Borden), the flute (Sharon Fogarty), and the fiddle (Nora Garver). Some of the tracks include guest artists on percussion (Bill Smith, Jonathan Mover) and voice (Rhiannon Giddens). The music of Immigrant's Daughter evokes the magic of Ireland, Scotland, and the British Isles. The group plays rousing jigs and reels, and will enchant you with its soulful airs and waltzes. Immigrant's Daughter strives to express the musical traditions of their immigrant forebears, combining them with their American heritage and classical backgrounds to create their own unique blend of music.
