This debut album contains four songs that were all written in a bedroom with a guitar a few years ago. I wanted to write upbeat songs that I could see people driving around to in the summer. Being a guitarist turned songwriter, all of these songs started out as a simple riff on a guitar that I couldn't stop playing. Slowly over a few months these guitar riffs turned into full blown songs that I was lucky enough to have the chance to record. Backing them with solid drums, moving baselines and some hand percussion brought them to life, and I'm proud to present the finished product that is "Stay at Home Son". Being the emotional songwriter I am, I felt it necessary to include at least one acoustic ballad, so in those slower melancholy moments of your life, "When Your Heart is Broken" may provide at least a moment of soothing music for you, I hope. Otherwise I hope the rest of the tunes on the album can be the soundtrack to your summer!
