简介
Sharp yellow-orange floodlights lit the back alleys of Fort Wayne, Indiana, as Secret Mezzanine (Cai Caudill, Robert Greene, and Jacob Sherfield) fled from a furious prep cook employed at a local Chinese restuarant. The trio carried a five gallon bucket full of low sodium soy sauce, pockets full of stolen Chinese Coriander, and veins full of cortisol and adrenaline. With no plan nor a chance for escape in sight, the group kicked open the door of a nearby abandoned ranch house and set to work barricading the door. Looking around in the darkness, the group realized they were in the famed but previously unknown studio of local 60's garage-skuzz-rock group "Hamburger Lockjaw". With copious amounts of time on their hands, the band proceeded to set the tape machine to record and pour out the contents of their brains. When finally they emerged from the darkness they had eleven tracks, some reworkings of their older songs, some brand spankin' new, but all ready for immediate consumption like a steaming pile of cashew chicken. "Ash to Ash" doesn't come in a waxed takeout container, it doesn't have any MSG, and the lack of high fructose corn syrup in the tracks may be disturbing to some, but we sure are proud of it and we hope you enjoy it.
