It was the last song recorded for the album Surreality. I thought that Surreality needed a song with some oomph in it to liven things up a bit. I recorded the two acoustic tracks and vocal tracks through mics on my Tascam PocketStudio. Then I recorded the drums and synth part on my Korg M50 Workstation. It was a task trying to play the acoustic backing track at the same time as the drum track on the Korg. After the drums were recorded, I had a bit of a challenge doing the synth part. If I pressed play on the PocketStudio and record on the Korg, the Korg would start recording before the Tascam started playing. So, I had to press play on the Studio .9 of a second before I pressed record on the Workstation. Lyrically, this song was enjoyable to write because of the flow of the words.
