Bigg C’s - Bio Corey Chimney, AKA “Bigg C” short for Bigg Christian, Co-owner of Effigy Records, LLC of DeSoto, Texas. Shortly after graduation from High School he became a part of the Crip family. After so much drama during this time, his mother decided to move them Dallas, Texas. His life started to change, after witnessing the illness of his sister Kathy, that later resulted in her death. “Bigg C” put the testimony of his life and the streets in his music to show the world that we’re lost and only through the Gospel of CHRIST we can be found. He realized that he needed spiritual guidance, so he turn to GOD and GOD put the right people in his life to help him. His first album entitled “My Brand New” completed in January 2006 is for THE MOST HIGH and his sister Kathy. The album “My Brand New” is basically about his transformation and his controversial style of Gospel Rap. “Bigg C” is currently a member of The Potters House and working for the Texas Youth Commission serving as a role model for our youth. He also attended Potters Institute and taught Bible Study under Ski Chills at Friendship West Baptist Church. He has written music on Compilation 4 “The Coalition” which consist of songs “Greener On The Other Side” and “Nobody but GOD” with Peculiar Records. He has also been on DCTV, performed at many churches throughout the Dallas area, which includes the Dallas Detention Center, Cottrell House, and the Church of Burea on many occasions spreading his ministry.
