When One Remains is an album of solo performances by Stephen Jay. Including 11 songs from Stephen's eight solo albums performed on a variety of stringed instruments. The essential heart of each song is revealed in these "bare bones" versions giving the listener an intimate one on one experience. Unaccompanied and unencumbered by extra layers of instruments these versions cut to the very core of each song.
