Choreographed by Copious Dance Theatre's Artistic Director Kat Worthington, Secret's Lament premiered in May 2011 and featured live music written specifically for the piece and performed by pianist/soprano Katy Stephan. Secret’s Lament observes dysfunctional relationships and unveils the dichotomy of human interactions through the story of love miscommunicated and misunderstood. Inspired by classical works, the music explores a dramatic range of moods.
