A warm and engaging live performer, Edinburgh based pianist and singer/songwriter Kim Edgar celebrates the release of her third solo album, Stories Untold, following the success of her 2008 debut, butterflies and broken glass, and her critically acclaimed 2012 album, The Ornate Lie. A member of pan-European folk band, Cara, Kim tours extensively within Europe, and as a member of genre-hopping collective The Burns Unit, has performed at Cambridge Folk Festival, on Later...With Jools Holland, and for HRH The Queen, with bandmate Karine Polwart. Kim performs solo on piano, acoustic guitar and voice, tackling topics including abandonment, concealment and sexual politics. Her intensity and intimacy in performance have attracted five star reviews.
