What is “MMXII” about? 0600 "Love" This is the first song on the CD. It is about everyone coming to grips that something big is about to go down. The prophet and his lover are enjoying every second. Breathing in the clean air and living like there is no tomorrow. There is peace all over the Earth and all the simple disputes people have are thrown away. There is love in the air. "Seize the day, Before the moment fades away" 0700 "The Warning” Playtime is over. The end is nearing and the prophet steps out from the darkness. He begins screaming and preaching his message from atop the highest hill. He tells the people of Earth that the only way they will be saved is to run into the eye of the storm. He describes what things will be like after the storm. "A barren wasteland that begs and pleads, NO one will survive not even me. My heart is racing, I think I might finally be free" 0800 "Doubt" People begin to doubt the prophet and calling him out on his false pretenses. The sky remains clear. He even begins doubting himself, but then is quickly reassured as he turns around and sees the storm that he had foretold. "Doubt is filling me in every way. If I'm wrong they'll never be an end. If I'm wrong? Then you misunderstand" 0900 "The Storm" People stare into a daze as the gigantic thundercloud screams over the horizon. People still doubt the prophet despite the lightening that soaks the atmosphere. He warns the few who doubt him "Don't even try to run, to the moon or the sun". The masses begin to panic and flee from the storm. The prophet is left standing alone on the hill as the lightening storm is almost overtop of him. "What is that in the sky? Staring me in the eye. I can't believe I was right, There is no one in sight". The prophet stands in disbelief that he is the only one who will live. He falls to his knees soaking them on the wet ground. "My soul is ripping to shreds, I can’t believe their ALL dead". Lightening continues to strike and destroy the once beautiful planet. The prophet looks across the horizon line and sees him standing there shaking his head. "What do you have to say? I tried to tell them but they just ran away. I can smell the burning flesh hang hanging in the air. Its harsh but I can dig it. Anyway" 1000 “Hell” Fire surrounds the planet burning and ravaging the few that managed to run far enough away. The prophet sits on his throne as he overlooks the destruction. The prophet is growing weak though, and his time is nearing the end. He tries to escape the grasp of his Keeper but is burned and incinerated until only ash scatters the burnt planet. It is over. 1100 “The First New Day” The earth soaks the rain into its dry burnt soil and green grasses begin to sprout all over the planet. Trees begin to shoot up from the Earth and Herds of newborn animals scream across the fresh hilly land. As everything returns to normal and has been reset to the beauty that once was, two eagles soar into the sunrise and fly out over the ocean. All that is left are waves crashing on the beach of the beautiful newborn land.
