Belle Holler was created by Nashville, TN songwriter Jason Blizzard, after living in Nashville, TN for over fifteen years. In that time, Jason discovered that Music City is simply teaming with so much incredible artistry that is literally ignored by major record labels (The Industry), so Blizzard believed he had to do something to get some of these artists exposed. Here's what Blizzard says is the reason Music City ignores what he calls "The Talent." --"These artists just don't fit the current 'sound-alike-mold.' These artists can actually sing, and their sound is different than that mind-numbing, redundant noise playing on mainstream radio today. These artists, especially the Belle Holler artists, are just truly great talents. But, sadly, these top-shelf artists literally remain unknown to the world because of what they represent...Talent. I want to help change that." It's really just the artistic equivalent of Paint-by-Numbers. It's actually the antithesis of creativity. It's formulaic, but not in a good way, but in a truly boring and repetitious way, constantly repeating the same melodies and message and reusing the same content over and over again." Blizzard has coined the term, "A Corporatized Redundancy of Sound," to describe the current music industry, when other experts are referring to it as the 'homogenization of radio.'
