Roberto Kunstler was born in Rome, he began playing and composing songs during the late '70s. His early songs of 1977. In 1978, still at high school, he appeared for the first time at the Folk Studio where he met with singer-songwriters of the Roman school. In 1984 he released his first 45 "Danzando con la notte e col vento" (Saint Vincent 1984) whose B-side, "Piccola regina del varietà" in the same year he won the Prix Rino Gaetano. In 1985 he participated at the Festival of San Remo between the new proposals with the song "Saranno i giovani" carrying a message of peace and freedom. In February of that year they released their first album "Gente comune" (BMG). Continues to perform live in several Italian cities while studying at the University of Rome in order to graduate in History of Religions of the Ancient Near East. In 1989 he released his second album, "Mamma, Pilato non mi vuole più " (Virgin). In 1991 it was the turn of "Eclettico Ecclesiastico" (Virgin). In the same year he took part in the tour, "Be-bop-a-lula sotto la tenda" playing in the major Italian cities. In 1992, he meets Sergio Cammariere with whom he begins an artistic collaboration that will bring them together in 1993 to publish the album "I ricordi e le persone" (BMG) which contains the first version of "Dalla pace del mare lontano." Together they also write for Paola Turci, "Mentre piove" and for Francesca Schiavo," Amore e guerra "(Sanremo 1995). In 1997 at the Tenco Prize as the author of Cammariere with five songs that he writes the lyrics and part of the music. During this period he also collaborates with Alex Britti ("Esci piano" soundtrack to the film "stressati"). In 2001 he participated in the soundtrack of "L'amore probabilmente" by Giuseppe Bertolucci (Venice Film Festival). In the same year he participated in the Premio Tenco as the author of Cammariere and as a songwriter as well. In 2OO2 he still participate at PremioTenco as the author of Cammariere. He writes all the lyrics from "Dalla pace del mare lontano" (first album of Cammariere). In addition to "Dalla pace del mare lontano" and "Sorella mia" Kunstler is the author of the text and the music, the album also contains "Vita d'artista" written entirely by Kunstler playing on his name in German means, of course, "artist". In 2003 he participated as an author at the Festival of Sanremo with the song "Tutto quello che un uomo" (words of R.Kunstler -music of S. Cammariere) got third place and the critics' prize. In 2004, he writes all the lyrics to Cammariere's new album: "Sul sentiero" (except "Niente" by P. Panella and "Ferragosto" by S. Bersani). Always with Cammariere also writes for Ornella Vanoni the song "L'azzurro immenso." In 2005 he released a new album of Roberto Kunstler titled simply "Kunstler". In 2006 he participated in the festival Musicultura with two songs from his new record ("Io farei qualziasi cosa" and "Resistere"). Writes all the lyrics (except "Le cose diverse," Pasquale Panella) Cammariere's new album "Il pane, il vino e la visione." In 2008 he wrote the lyrics to Cammariere's "L'amore non si spiega" (Sanremo 2008) and "Le note blù", both published in the collection of Cammariere "Cantautore piccolino". In 2009 signed an exclusive contract with Universal Music Publishing as a songwriter and composer, he wrote for other artists both in Italy and abroad, including these three songs on the new cd Alex Britti (.23) have the texts of Kunstler. In 2009, he writes all the lyrics for the new album of Sergio Cammariere "Carovane". In 2010 recorded a new CD that contains all his songs he is writing words and music.
