Mohobub Flores first and foremost is a Belizean Superstar and Punta Rock Legend straight outta Dangriga or, as he likes to call his favorite hometown, GrigaDang. ‘Bub’ as all his friends, classmates, roommates or even playmates call him, exploded onto the Puntarock scene in the early 80s with the Original TurtleShell Band spearheaded by Pen Cayetano. A little-known fact is that Bub also played drums for the world-famous Lord Rhaburn in Belize City before turning his attention full time to lead vocalist. As such, he achieved prominence after his first solo effort debut album - ‘Roots and Culture’ -with Wild Adventure Studios in Long Beach CA in the mid-80s. Roots and Culture is still his single most impressive work to date. Since then he has toured all of Planet Earth most recently with the Garifuna Collective while remaining true to his Belizean PuntaRock/Paranda roots. So now here comes - TSUNAMI – his latest effort to date, written and composed by him with special thanks to Tabb Studios and Glenn Tillett. Fenton Banner the Main Instrument Player with special guest Cattouse Medina playing keys on the Title track ‘Tsunami.’ This CD album Executive Producers are Helene Grunvold & Fenton Banner.
