Dalvir was born in India in the village of Rurkee, in Jalandhar, Punjab. At the tender age of eight he was singing a capella numbers on stage. With a keen interest in music he attended bhangra dance lessons from 1991 and performed at literally thousands of shows. With a dance troupe and dhol band, Dalvir would entertain with precise dance routines at every party, wedding and festival that was handed to him. After every show, Dalvir and his fellow performers would sing boliyan in the changing rooms and it was here that he realised his true potential as a Punjabi singer. Dalvir graduated at Phagwara Punjab University in 1996 and moved to England in late '97. Within a year he had joined forces with one of the best Bhangra dance groups, Nachda Sansaar, and performed at over 3000 shows all over the UK. During this time, Dalvir began developing his vocals on the mic and gradually became the official Nachda Sansaar group singer. Working with the community, the group went on to teach the art and culture of Bhangra in school workshops and are still entertaining at parties and high profile events. With highly positive responses from his many audiences, Dalvir began working on his own ambitions to fully realise his potential as a successful Punjabi artist, and by drawing on his experience live on stage, he wrote and recorded his debut album, "Sunakhi", in the early Spring of 2011.
