Masters of the Universe feature an exciting blend of funk, rock, and roots. Their songs will get you moving at first listen and freak you out the second. This is original funk-folk with a twisted novelty that echoes, in equal parts, Talking Heads, The Band, and Prince. The goal is to describe an alien universe more familiar than your bedroom yet more eerie than a Lovecraft dreamscape, then make you dance your face off there.
