While there is little here for the uninitiated, fans of the band will be pleased; songs like "Standing in My Way" and the surprisingly mature "She's Right Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" exhibit all of what made their later releases so enjoyable. The sound here is a bit more raw, and the songs are not quite as fully formed, but overall this was a very good attempt, considering the group was still in their formative stages.
