简介
by William Ruhlmann There was a lot of noise about Russian rock back in the days of glasnost and perestroika, but there hasn't been much lately, because much of what has come out of Russia sounds like pallid imitations of Western rock, and Autograf is a good example of that, at least on this album, which presents them as a sort of Journey wannabe, wailing English language power ballads that sound like they're intended for the Zippo lighter-clutching hordes in the basketball arenas of middle America. They'll probably never get there, though, at least as long as Jon Bon Jovi has a breath left in his body.
