This is a collection of many of my first attempts at making recordings of music. Many of the songs are instrumental and short, some of them are long, with vocals. You can pretty much get a great sense of what my discovery in music was like by listening to the 27 selected tracks for this CD. Track 20: Smoke Break Some days I feel really overwhelmed I feel like all I can do is lay down and turn on the tv There are so many channels (come on pass it to me, it's not fair, I want a hit) And most of the time The channels stress me out If I'm not hearing about violence or death I'm being sold religion left and right Or they want me to buy their cereal because I'm this certain kind of soccor mom. I only fit in with TLC, Lifetime or Bravo it seems And even though stations can be tedious, I need to start taking my smoke break outdoors Where silence bids me peace of mind and tranquility Sometimes I just need a place where I can hear myself think And know that I, myself, am indeed, the only one doing the thinking!
