New Mexico Rocks! is a project by women in the New Mexico music scene to benefit Gulf Region victims of Hurricane Katrina. The project includes a cheesecake-esque pin-up calendar featuring New Mexico female musicians and a companion CD that features tracks showcasing the musical talents of the girls. Proceeds from all sales will be donated to the organization Common Ground (commongroundreleif.org). Pin-up models contributed to all aspects of this project from design to completion. This CD was sponsored by Socyermom Records (socyermom.com). New Mexico's leading rock label. Everyone who purchases a CD and leaves their contact info will be mailed a free copy of the actual New Mexico Rocks Pin-up calendar. The CD insert includes different poses of all the Pin-up girls and is a calendar itself.
