The tracks on this album are all quite different in that even the individual sections of each song were thought about and edited by different people working together and inspired by many influences. Because I, the bass player, was the composer of most of the music I tried to avoid keeping the bass lines simple. I think interesting bass lines really contribute to our alternative rock kind of sound. In some tracks there are synthesizer arpeggios which we use to give an extra energy and sense of grandiosity to the tracks. This was especially influenced by bands like Muse and 30 Seconds to Mars. The two ballads in the album (Flashlight and Drawings on Sand) in which the guitar is central contain aspects of bands like Coldplay and Incubus especially considering their slow acoustic guitar/piano-led build-ups, slow calm melodies, and energectic finishes. We believe that we have found our own sound and that a wide range of different people can enjoy different tracks on this album.
