Nate is a former worship leader who has a heart for refreshing the timeless message of songs with new arrangements and sonic landscapes, borrowing elements from folk, electronica, metal, and indie easy listening genres, with the goal of getting people to stop and listen like it's the first time they have ever heard it. He frequently enlists the help of violist Allison Selley to maintain an earthy folk texture to set in contrast to bold electric guitar distortion and synthesizer lines. He hopes to inject beauty and power into each of his songs, and every so often, maybe put in a little playfulness. Ultimately, he seeks to bring people to a place where these elements lead to a real encounter with God.
