The songs on this album have been downloaded to Pastor Beverley over a period of 5 years. Pastor Beverley is driven by the conviction that 'the Body of Christ needs to be reminded of the definition of True Worship.' She is a Worship Leader, Teacher and Songwriter who has a particular revelation of the relevance of True Worship to endtime revival. This is the first in a series of EP's drawn from a canon of 50 songs. Often they have been birthed out of 'times of worship' enjoyed by Pastor Beverley's Garden of Eden Ministries congregation. Now however, these songs are being enjoyed by the Body of Christ at large. The purpose of this particular EP is to highlight the significance of Jerusalem to the Body of Christ in worship and to illustrate the difference between Entertainment and Worship. According to Ezekiel 5:5 geographically, God set Jerusalem in the centre of the nations. The most important part of Jerusalem was and always will be the Temple because that is the place where God meets with His people. One day soon, the Messiah will return to sit on the throne of David to rule and reign for a thousand years. The significance of Jerusalem to the Body of Christ is firstly, the Heavenly Jerusalem referred to in the Book of Hebrews 12: 22-23 and secondly, the Jerusalem reflected in the Body of Christ (The Church), described in 1 Corinthians 3:16 as 'The temple of God in which the Holy Spirit lives.' God the Father, sits on His Throne in the Heavenly Jerusalem, God the Son will soon return to earth to sit on His Throne in the earthly Jerusalem, and God the Holy Spirit sits on His Throne in the Jerusalem of our hearts. This album will encourage the Body of believers to play their part in continuing to 'pray for the peace of Jerusalem.' The nations will experience lasting peace only when Yeshua Ha Mashiyach is seated on His Throne in Yerushalayim. Zechariah 14: 16-17 says, 'In the end, the enemies of Jerusalem who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the Lord of Heaven's Armies, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters. And any nation in the world that refuses to come to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Heaven's Armies, will have no rain. The track entitled: 'Yerushalayim' is a prayer that will bring safety and prosperity into all local churches and into the lives of individuals who will commit to making this song a part of their prayer for peace in the nation of Israel. This Ep is really about focussing on God and making every effort to climb His Holy Mountain in order to experience oneness with Him. The only people who God searches for in the earth, are those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. To worship Him is to touch Him with your spirit and in order to touch Him you must 'ascend' or 'climb' His Holy Mountain. To go to Jerusalem we must 'GO UP'. Psalm 87:1-6 says, 'On the holy mountain stands the city founded by the Lord. He loves the city of Jerusalem more than any other city in Israel. O city of God, what glorious things are said of you! I will count Egypt and Babylon among those who know me - also Philistia and Tyre, and even distant Ethiopia. They have all become citizens of Jerusalem! Regarding Jerusalem it will be said, "Everyone enjoys the rights of citizenship there." And the Most High will personally bless this city. When the Lord registers the nations, he will say, "They have all become citizens of Jerusalem."
