"Citizen X" is the debut album from Ariginal x Sylence featuring guest appearances from Pep Love (Hieroglyphics), Opio (Hieroglyphics), A-Plus (Hieroglyphics), Gift of Gab (Blackalicious), Co$$, Sene, Scribes, Koncept, Rey Resurreccion, J.Nolan, Alma Belen Carlson, and Ross Rock. Ariginal (rapper), originally from Los Angeles, CA, made his home up north in Santa Cruz, CA, where he met Sylence (producer) during an introduction studio session with Tupac's first cousin. The two started off doing a little bit of recording here and there but nothing serious. Then, Sylence asked Ariginal if he'd be down to do a full LP. Six months later, armed with a chalk full of heavy hitting features, and 14 solid tracks, Ariginal x Sylence are very excited to put "Citizen X" out to the world. "Citizen X" exemplifies the common person who digs deep and discovers their inner fire and their talents, and sets forth on their personal quest to liberate themselves from the societal, daily minutiae. This album is theme music for the inner rebel that wants and chooses to break free. This album represents our self-expressions and our desire to help others find theirs.
