"The Road Gone But Not Forgotten" is Steve Thompson's final album. The material gathered here includes compositions completed in 2014 for inclusion on a planned all-acoustic album, several leftover tracks (like "Latest Phase" and "Stand", from the "Sins in Progress" sessions, "Catalyst", from the "Whatever...(Happened?)" sessions, and several demo tracks written and recorded in the late 1990s on a 4-track tape recorder and newly re-mastered. This album is somewhat philosophical and allegorical, commenting on past relationships, life and death. A fitting showcase for Steve's last hurrah.
