"Cover of The Field and Stream" (co-written by legendary songwriter, musician and producer Steve Cropper who penned such hits as "Sittin On The Dock of The Bay", "Knock On Wood" and "Midnight Hour") is a modern-day story of some outdoorsmen dreaming of making it onto the cover of their favorite magazine - inspired by Dr. Hook's 1970's hit "Cover of The Rolling Stone". "Pink Flamingo Blues" was written after Joe had a 3-hour late-night conversation with a pink flamingo in his back yard, and then called up his good buddy and Grammy Award wining songwriter, Gary Hannan ("Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" & "Back When I Knew It All"). And "Better Half've" tells the story that any couple who has lived through the past few years in this economy can relate to.
