Known for a soaring tenor, Joe has gained a wide audience in the last few years as a highly in-demand actor on Broadway stages, television, film, as well as a vocalist with dozens of the top Symphony Orchestras throughout the United States and Canada. He has recorded and performed as a soloist in several Pops series under the batons of Maestros Lorin Maazel(New York Philharmonic), Jack Everly(Principal Pops Conductor of the Indianapolis, National Arts Centre, Naples, & Detroit Symphonies), as well as New York Pops conductor Steve Reineke, and the Portland & Winston Salem Symphony Orchestra’s Music Director Robert Moody. Also an accomplished musician, Joe plays guitar and piano and has performed in some of NYC’s leading venues such as Joe’s Pub, The Bitter End and and Ars Nova. A highlight was reuniting with old friend and legendary guitarist Greg Koch in NYC for Joe Cassidy: Rock Star as well as on WKLH’s Dave and Carol show in Milwaukee, WI for an impromptu jam session while on tour with Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. An actor/singer/musician, Joe originally hails from the mean streets of Wauwatosa, WI. After spending a brief period of time in law school, he opted for a more stable career in the Performing Arts. Since making that move, he has performed all across the United States and Europe.
