Why we've gone...Bazonkers! With the advent of digital media, the music industry has changed in a very big way for labels, publishers and songwriters. The changes have impacted the bottom line of all of the above in a very negative way. Basically, outdated copyright laws have not kept pace with the new technology and the courts have not been our friend. Results? Fewer labels, publishers and songwriters who are able to make a living creating songs that provide joy to our lives. As songwriters, we've gone BAZONKERS about it! So, we've decided to take matters into our own hands and create our own digital on line record company. We're learning as we go, so please be patient with us. YOU will lead our growth by getting behind our music and spreading the word. Quite frankly, YOU..our fans...are the most important people driving our success and we're BAZONKERS (in a good way) about having the opportunity to bring you some awesome music direct from Nashville studio's to your ears! Bazonkers Music brings you a mix of traditional and contemporary Country Music, along with some Christian songs from some long time Nashville hit songwriters. One of our featured writers is, Bucky Jones who has nine #1 hits and 25 top tens to his credit. He has also received the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year honors. Bucky continues to collaborate with some of the greatest Country Music songwriters of all time, including Hall of Famer, Curly Putman who penned "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones and "Green, Green Grass of Home" by Tom Jones. Pat Kelley has been nominated for Songwriter of the Year through the Independent Country Music Association and has many Indie cuts to his credit. He also has had several songs under Nashville publishing agreements. Those publishers include Sony/ATV Music Publishing. One of those songs was recently recorded by Nashville artist, Lynn Easterly called, "It Might Get Loud." That song is the single off of Lynn's new CD and the music video is currently being shown on CMT, GAC, Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and many major retail outlets throughout the US and other country's. Bazonkers works with many of the top male and female artists and producers in Nashville to bring you some incredible music that you will not hear from the major record labels.
