Multiple Mono's first domestic release on Jyre Records, entitled "Drie Rhombusss," represents 2 artists, 3 studios, and 4 years of diverse work. The EP begins with "Crabbie," a kick heavy dance-floor bomb, recorded in The Hilltop Rhombus, a secluded eastern Long Island cabin studio in the summer of 2013. The second track "Imbalance" brings the tempo and pitch down substantially, reflecting Multiple Mono's work in the Dam Rhombus during the harsh winter of 2012. Also recorded in in The Hilltop Rhombus towards the end of 2013 is track four, Shoulder Touchpad," a beat driven exploration of late night sub frequencies. When it Rains it Pours" is the most recently recorded track (winter 2014) on the album, produced in the Bassment Rhombus, Multiple Mono's first studio space. It was this suburban subterranean studio that shaped the groups sound and ultimately dictated it's trajectory forward. In 2010, Multiple Mono recorded the eerily beautiful "****ing Planes" in the Bassment Rhombus, representing the beginning and ending of the EP and the musical journey it represents.
