Neil Robertson began writing songs while trekking through South America and after 15 years performing and recording as a solo artist and with various bands, he has hundreds of original songs to his credit. His songs are strongly lyrical and influenced by a wide range of rock, pop, folk and blues music. His influences and heroes include singer/songwriter greats such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Paul Kelly, as well as bands such as Midnight Oil, REM, Crowded House and classic 60s and 70s rock and folk. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Robertson continues to write, produce and record independently. His debut solo album "Wake Up The Dead" is his tenth independent CD release and his most powerful and accomplished work to date.
