The project started in Spring of 2009 after a terrible family experience. When searching the internet for a philosophical concept of inhabiting a dream world, I found a research paper by Nick Bostrom, It is entitled 'Are You Living in a Computer Simulation' published by Philosophical Quarterly (2003) Vol. 53, No. 211, pp. 243-255. I clung to every word, realizing this is exactly the information I sought. Complexity Theory is the third album in the journey through the machine world. Track 13 features the voice of Tommy T of Diverje, Infused, Biomechanical Degeneration, and the host of Cyberage Radio. Track 5 features the voice of my niece Penelope discussing her butterfly farm. The journey through the world of machines and computer tech continues with a glitch, dark-wave, trance soundscape. The subjects contained cover: consciousness, disease, space travel, mental illness, insomnia, disenchantment, end–times prophesy, technology, and much more… The packaging is all handmade, and the actual CD Disc is hand painted with gouache paint. The images are a mixture of my photography and fractal designs!
